Default Fiberglass Repair Peeps?

Hey Guys! I need a small repair on the rear corner of my Leer canopy on my truck. The damage is on the bottom edge or the rear corner and is about three inches wide and maybe an inch high. Who might be able to get this repaired and ready for paint? Any resources, local to Portland?

Go down to the auto parts store and pick up some fiberglass resin, hardner, and fiberglass Matt if it's cracked at all. Tape off the good and rough up the bad and fill it up and sand, sometimes I've used tape to build troughs and areas to retain the resin to build up the damaged area, use the fiberglass Matt if you have cracks. Never hurts to try and it's already damaged and you may surprise yourself. I learned how to fiberglass when I forgot my radar dome does not fit under my boat storage.

I noticed today while driving past RV-Pro in Hazel Dell that their sign said they do gelcoat repairs. If they are any good at it, they should be able to match your canopy color.

Located west of I-5, and just a couple blocks south of the 78th St. exit.

Yeah, I’ve done business with them on parts for my trailer, I didn’t think of them for a repair like that. I’ll check them out. Thanks!

I had a canopy repaired one time at a place down near Fort Vancouver. Actually it was East closer to the hangers next to Pearson. I can't remember the name nor do I know if they are still there.

I know it's a distance from you you, but you can try Bob Top Canopies in Hillsboro, they make their own canopies so I would bet they could do repairs.
