Default Greenling

I'll be headed up the coast from Brookings To Bandon in the next week. Are there any areas that I should check out to get a few greenling (kelp or rock)? I'll be fishing from shore.

Any help is appreciated..

Just about anywhere that you can safely access the water where you can see some kelp.
You don't want the kelp to be too thick otherwise you'll just be snagged up in it all day

Port Orford, down by the docks. Decent opportunity for blackies, greenling, and maybe a linger. Might be a couple of pile perch on the hoist side, too, where the wall meets the jetty rocks.

A little more adventurous but probably less bank opportunity would be at Sisters Rock. Great hike and scenery though...

A slip bobber in the rip might help expand your range at both spots

Thanks guys! I'm doing some satellite scouting for some kelp beds. I don't mind a good hike, in fact I'd prefer to get some steps in.

The spit on the Rouge and the south jetty are usually pretty good for perch.
