Default Aurora Borealis Viewing

We may get an opportunity to view the Aurora Borealis for the next few evenings. G3 level mass heading our way, G2 by tomorrow.

that would be awesome.....i have been fortunate to see nature put on some cool shows, but aurora borealis has been the most breath taking.

i remember being dog tired after long days diving up in alaska, temps in single digits, and i cannot leave the back deck watching the show in the sky....it's one of those things that's so amazing seeing it for the first time.....but equally amazing every other time.

Have never seen it up close and personal in the far north but down here it can still be spectacular. Hope to get a look.

Last saw it during duck season at the Summer Lake Lodge, probably 10-15 years ago. Dining room was packed with tired, hungry hunters when the cook walked out and said the Northern Lights were putting on a show. Emptied the dining room. It's really something.
