Default Fish pro gets a few mods

Decided that the sea doo fish pro needed a few mods after fishing it last year for salmon, tuna and bottom fish. I hate having all my rods and gear behind me where I can't see them. So I am building a front rack to hold poles, nets, and gaffs vertical, want place to mount VHF and antenna, backup MFD, a few Plano boxes, and jam cleat for anchor.

Started bending the main pipes, this is 1 1/4" 6061T6 pipe. I would have preferred 6063 T3 so I would not have to sofren the pipe with heat to be able to bend it with out cracking. The front mounts will be through bolted with backing plate. Back mounts will have couple screws in fiberglass and 3m 5200. Actually both mounting locations will get 5200.

Added a cross tube in front to tie them together. Tried to keep the lines close to the skis.

Navigation lights install, if you look in center of cross tube you can see jam cleat mount tacked in place.

What are you using to bend the pipe, bends look hood. So far that is looking like a factory option. Looking forward to seeing the end result.

Using a JD2 Model3 bender. Air over hydraulic ram. Trying to follow factory lines.

Spin those rod tubes up with a little sandpaper, oh and make more. Doesn't look porcupiny enough yet. Needs more rocket launchers..

Thanks and I will have to try and remember that next time. Would have saved me a step and probably a few dollars also.

View from the command center lol. Garmin echomap plus 62cv on left mounted in place with custom mount. Will be connected to the echomap plus 74cv through NMEA2000 to share the Navionics.. Waiting on the 4 pin nmea2000 cable for the 62cv. The 62cv will run the factory though hull gt15 transducer and the 74cv runs a gt23tm transom mount. I am going mount the standard horizon gx1800gps inside the ski and control it through the ram4 remote station mic. I will mount 2 marinco (scotty) outlets up front on the lift hatch. I plan on trolling 3 electric reels for tuna. Two up front out wide using the ski power and the 3rd right down the center of the ski off one of the cooler pole holders using a portable battery.

All hooked up and done, just reinstall vhf radio.
Duh!! The 2x6 is pressure treated and probably with zinc. Zinc and aluminum in saltwater = corrosion. Going to have to place a thin plastic layer between them. Outside of that, done for now..

You might need to tow a skiff to carry more ice out and more iced fish back.
