Default Newish Hunter/Fisher

Hey all. Just thought I'd say hi in the intro topic here. I've been hunting and fishing for about a year now and am hoping to lean from people via the fourm here.

Hey Shrek. Welcome.
Can ya tell us a bit about yourself. Like a good fishin' tale, or hunting?
What kind of critter do you chase? Got a boat?
Where you live?
Tight lines out there.

I live in Salem and have just started hunting this year. I started with rabbit hunting (no success), and tried deer hunting this past rifle season and only saw two does. I'm trying to get fall turkey this year, but so far it's looking like my success rate for hunting will stay at zero. That being said I'm open to anyone looking to mentor/show the ropes.

I also fish/crab, no boat so stuck on the shore unless I charter something. I mainly do stocked trout, and have had success with that, but I am looking at getting into sturgeon fishing.

There's a lot of bank fisher's here. We do ok.
But as far as chasing sturgeon, just not sure. Never have gone after them.
There are a few other ifisher's in Salem also.
Lots of trout ponds around the area, as with bass and crappie, bluegill.
Good luck out there and don't be afraid to jump in and ask questions. Lots of advice here.
Good luck out there.
