Default Any advice for Columbia near Boardman

I am going to be up in the Boardman area for a week coming up and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what to bring for fishing this area.

I have a 16 foot boat but only really fished the lower river in the spring and lakes for trout in the summer.
Not looking to find any ones secret spot. Just would like some general information. Are there any areas I will need to be careful when operating the boat?
I have only targeted Walleye a couple times in the lower river near Camas years ago and caught a few trolling a worm. So I only have minimal experience.
Never targeted Bass.

Any advice is much appreciated.
