Default Need suggestion on Yamaha motor repair shop in Williamette Valley

I live in Bend Oregon and need a suggestion for a Yamaha dealer in the WV that specializes in salt water, big outboard engine repair.

My motor started making bad noises offshore and I want to take it to someone experienced with major overhauls and diagnostics.

I fish my boat for tuna offshore and hope to only have to make one trip to the Valley to deliver the boat and one to pick it up; in other words I'm hoping to get it repaired right the first time.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations,

LadyE

There is a Yamaha certified shop in Corvallis. Haven't had any work done there but have talked with them they seem knowledgeable.

If Portland isnt too far I would recommend NW Marine Solutions. Just had some things done and it was less $$ then they originally quoted. The also have a Yamaha Master Tech that works there.

NW Marine Sollutions. Guy and Chris are very knowledgeable and great to do business with. They have done great service on my Northriver.

I live in Corvallis, the dealer in town has done right by me so far.

Not sure if he does Yamaha (I think a lot of merc are yamaha head units are the same depending on vintage and they use the same hose barb!) but Mark in Salem was great with the conversion of my 40hp Merc to a 50hp last spring.
