Default Verizon Voicemail

So.... For the past 6 months or so, when I go to check my voicemail, VZ asks for my password (thats' ok), then they tell me "You have (x) amount of messages. First message, from xxx-xxx-xxxx, sent Friday, September 25th, at 3:24 PM, duration 34 seconds..."

I HATE that I have to listen to all that- just to listen the actual voicemail. Does anyone know a shortcut to turn that off? Nothing showing up on Google.

I just use the voice mail app and read the messages I want to. The translation isn't the best, but I can also just hit play on the message and hear it.

Go to the app store and download you mail.

I love it as it as VM's show up like emails where you can listen or delete at will without going through a bunch of menus.

you can also set it to automatically delete VM's or create custom VM's depending on the number etc.

I thought texts had eliminated voice mail. I never even set up my account...
