Default Cold springs crappie

Catching a few crappie at the reservoir. Water is only 58 degrees. Saw a couple of 15-16" fish the other day.

Man! I really thought I'd researched practically all and fished most "crappie" lakes in Oregon. How the heck did I miss this one? I'd love to hear any details you'd be willing to give. I'm boat-less for the first time since I got a john boat for my 12 birthday...It's killing me! Is this lake fishable from shore?

Bank fishing is sketchy at best. Tons of willows and Mosquitos! Really need a boat.

Yes a small boat. It is a one boat at a time kinda place. Went yesterday and it was very slow. Fished 6hrs brought home 6 fish. Very deep still. Others had a few more but were there longer.
