Default powder river arm

Fished the arm this past Saturday. Picked up a few bass and nothing else. Lots of fish on the finder but not much interest in taking a bait. Water temps. in the low to mid 50's. Won't be much longer until things pickup. Very nice day on the water anyway.

Did you try for Crappie? Have the fish started to move into staging areas for spawning yet? We are planning a trip over in a few weeks. Hope things pick up soon.

Yes we tried for crappie but didnt get any hits, so when we picked up a bass we started to concentrate on them.

Hey FE:
You have to learn one thing fast. We don't take time to eat at Brownlee. The fishin' is so fast that you can't put your rod down long enough to pick up a fork

Billy:
Campsite cost? Whose coming in to camp? Aren't you boys going to fish all night? I say we "fish till we drop"...what do you say? I'm good for about 17-18 hours straight. I'll quite,to take a bite, when I reach 250 slabs.

I don't know about lucky... Brownlee, Oxbow and Hells canyon are what we got in exchange for one of the largest Salmon and steelhead runs on earth. Since that will never change we have learned to love it for what it is.

:whazzup:Fishrite so thats why you never saw any Bucks while hunting. You think that the smelly jelly works on everything. Now Terry your starting to worry me when you say 250 crappie. I was thinking more like 350.

Billy:
OK, let's go for 350 of those "slabs". I'm throwin' them back unless they are 15" or better. You better bring some sunburn lotion for those legs...otherwise you will have some lines from all the wrinkles.

Rod:
Smelley Jelly.....Pleeaassseee! Don't blame your lack of hunting success on me. I think that you must have wet your pants in the tree stand, because all the deer tracks skirted your tree big time. Or maybe it was that you passed too much gas in the tree. I did notice a "blasted spot" on the tree after you moved your stand. And you blamed it on my Smelley Jelly?
