Default Springers...Wed 4-10....

Tomorrow I am doing the long awaited non weekend first springer assault. It's raining and the fish are late, so the odds are good. I'd like to hook up with a few other ifishers to trade reports on specific areas by VHF. Who'll be out there tomorrow?

Fool....What is your vessel name/call sign? I answer to "Adrianna".

I'm planning on fishing the WA shore below Kelly point for salmon. ...The punch bowl after noon, if the salmon God is not kind to me. Top of Govt. Isle. is the back up local.

I'll be fishing out there tomorrow. I don't have a VHF yet but call me on my cell. 503-332-9019. I will be down river from you around the mouth of the Cowlitz.

I'll be fishing near the head of the Mult.Channel in the afternoon. No VHF yet. Rags hope you didn't screw up and land a job, too many fish to catch on those quality weekdays.

Reporting in. 10 fish. 4 kept. One was a nice 25#lber. It is great to fish during the week. Jay, it will all be over soon. I will be working or no money to go. I'm sure I will squeeze in another few days before I go back to work. See you this weekend at the big F4. Make sure you have bumbers on your boat.

I got two today in the St Helens area. Certainly not hot where we were, saw 7 fish on including my two. One fin clipped and one not, about 15 lbs each.

I checked my Kwik fish that caught the first one, it was a K18J??? Not sure where I got that one. Anyone heard of it?

Rags,
From the way it sounds you don't need old No Pilram to be with you. I sure wished I would have been with you. I have been trying to call you but I guess you have been doing something more important. I bet you are getting dialed in for Saturday? Have you got a boat full? Best leave some for Old NP to catch next month!! Go get'em!!!
See ya.

Fished the Columbia at Kalama today. Fishing was slow, we had 5 takedowns and kept 2 hatchery, 8&16lb. Fished 19' with one on brass spinner and one on wrapped Quik Fish. 9 boats with 2 other hatchery fish and 3 released.
