Default Anyone on the Hunt for tuna out of charleston This weekend?

Been way too busy, so I'm not keeping up with who's catching longfins, and where.
I'm really worn out... think I need a therapeutic dose of bloody decks. I'm too old for all this work!

I am hoping for Friday and Saturday. Might be my last chance this year.

Ditto, I am thinking the same thing. The thread and comments on the south wind spook me though. Been out there one time in a light south wind and it was like being in a washing machine. Going to watch the weather close and hope someone checks it out tomorrow and reports.

I think we are going to run Sunday. Looks like light to no wind and may even turn around to a north wind in the evening.

I didn't fish tuna today- just crabs and rock fish out of Charleston. Lots of tuna fishers were back at 1:30 with LOTS of fish said it was a bit bumpy in the AM. Most seemed to fish 20-25 miles. One guy and his buddy said they got their 50 fish and said it was the best fishing he had ever seen--never got a chance to jig since there were always fish on when they started to troll. Water was 57.7 degrees where we were fishing bottom fish.. jonb
