Question OTC Results???

Is there a list anywhere of who won what and how much went to the food bank in $$$ and ### (those ain't hashtags)? Or is it a sworn secret to participants only?

I thought it was broadcast last year. I do remember that the year before was a very small pile of fish... I bet they needed a semi this year!

Team Reel Therapy/Longshot was the winner of the Garibaldi leg and team Fastcat won the overall. Lots of tuna died but it was tough going to find good size. The winning weight was 97.95lbs

There's the home site and a picture of someone holding a check dated 2009. So? Someone got 97.95 pounds and won what? Besides bragging rights after paying $650 to enter. Seems to me the least info would be the team names - Bud had them listed, something like 50 of them - how each placed and what they won. Then the overall amount handed over to the food bank. It seems like a total info black out aside from a few folks posting about their personal experience on that day. And only a few of those.

I'd like to brag a bit about what guys from my home port did for a good cause, but there's nothing worth mentioning at this point.

ITC team Reel Therapy / Long Shot won the $100 side pot $250 side pot $500 side pot and $1000 side pot. Along with the $6000 in prize money. Totaling a little more than $15,000

Tuna time took 2nd place $3000 in prize money not sure on side pots

Tracy linn took 3rd place $1000 prize money not sure on side pots

Hillbilly deluxe won the salmon side pot $250

Team Fortunate won big fish Friday not sure of the $$

The overall list of team finishes will be posted by the OTC soon. Usually within a few days

And FYI the dinner banquet, free drinks, raffle items, auction items and just getting to hang out with a couple hundred of the best tuna fisherman in our area for a weekend is well worth the $650 entry fee.

Thanks, UH. I was at a family reunion in Rockaway last weekend and tried to explain what the OTC was and realized how little I knew about it. So I was looking for some info on how this year's event turned out. I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks again.

We had 40+ teams helping feed the hungry!

6,500 pounds of tuna donated (unofficial total) and cut by Pacific Seafood.

We won’t have the final amount of money donated until the accounting is done.

It’s estimated that these events have a $250,000 economic impact for the local community.
