Default Drift Boat Flooring Ideas

I am now a proud owner of a "new-to-me" aluminum driftboat. As having cleats on the bottom of wader boots is becoming more common, I'm thinking about putting down foam fatigue floor sections on the bottom to reduce scratching up the aluminum bottom of the boat.

Curious if anyone has ideas on how to help keep the padding from sliding while moving around in the boat and/or it blowing away while in transit?

I would rather not glue it down in case I want to clean it or replace it.

I know Clackacraft sells Interconnecting floor mats that should do what you want. I’m sure some other places sell it too but check out their website under boat accessories.

Thanks, I've looked into those ... just didn't know if they slide around.

Should clarify, the floor is not evenly flat in the center area.

Not sure where you’re at, but there are a couple of drift boat builders in the Eugene area. Koffler on Greenhill and Diamondback on Jeans Rd in Veneta. Either of them could whip a new floor into that pretty fast.
