The Columbia River Slough, which is connected to the Willamette near the mouth to the Columbia, is known for very large carp. Last time there, I saw camping underneath most of the bridges.
Do you eat those carp? I've only run into one guy in my life that ate then It was on the Hudson River upstate N.Y. That was close to 65 yrs ago!
