Default Tuna run from Newport 10/6

I'm heading out to chase tuna tomorrow out of Newport. Any other boats going? I hope there are a few buddy boats in general area. I'm guessing 50 to 60 miles offshore. A post of an SST shot from a salty dog on here a couple days ago looked like in the area of 45 12 over 124 51 would be some 60 deg water, 57 - 59 deg water 10 miles inside that. That's about a 56 mile run from Newport to the blue 60 deg water (at least based on SST from 3 days ago). If anybody has a more recent SST shot with some general #'s I would appreciate it. I didn't subscribe this year. I will be launching about 6:50 Saturday morning.
Thanks,
Steve Arnold aka Arnolds Ark

Pulled the plug on tuna trip. Too many reports of 55 - 70 mile trips with -0- or 1 fish caught. Guess we will troll salmon outside mouths of Yaquina or Alsea bays, bottom fish, and crab. Still should be fun. I really wanted to get in one more tuna trip though.

Agreed, us too. That's why I'm looking on this board, searching for that one positive report or new SST showing warmer water! Can't find it.
