Default Beads for spinners

I was wondering if anyone knows where to get fire polished chechz(sp) faceted beads and or fiber optic beads? The first bead has a one normal color and a really shiny other side with several different colors. The fiber optic beads are colored darker on the ends and lighter in the middle, tehy are supposed to let a lot of light through. I have seen them on the internet but would rather not buy them online. The beads look really cool and will make some nice spinners.

Thanks Robert

The aurora borealis faceted and fiber optic beads are carried by all the bead/craft shops in the Portland-Vancouver area, as are the Austrian faceted crystal beads like those made by Swarovski and others. They make up into incredible spinners.

Thumper could you please be a little more specific? Like the name of a store of two that has them. I have been to lots of bead and craft shops but never seen any. Thanks Robert

I've purchased these products at Dava Bead in Portland on Capitol Hwy (503-246-1934) and at Bead City in Vancouver near I-205 (360-253-2256). Just call around .... many other shops sell them as well.

I have found the glass beads. Thanks for the information. Does anyone know where to get plastic beads that look like fire polished glass beads, around Portland? I got some at the show, of course they are a long way from Portland.

Thanks Robert
