Default Brown's Camp in Tillamook State Forest

A few months back I spent the day with my son 4-wheeling in his 84 Toyota up at Brown's Camp. Those early 80's Toyota trucks are tough as nails.

The clip is one of those really steep, long inclines that you don't know if you're going to make it until the last few feet.

Good times.

How are your kidneys after that ride?

I had an 85 Yota in college. Last year with the solid front axle. Loved that truck, but wasn't super practical when we moved to PTown.

I love old Toyotas...and rough roads. I want an old FJ landcruiser.

Still kicking myself for not keeping my '85 after an elk flipped me on Hwy 6, about 15 years ago. I sold it to a kid who was going to make an off-roader out of it. I would love to have it back for a hunting rig, now.

Good to hear the uncontrollable father/son laughter, once you got to the top and could breathe enough to laugh.

We used to like to take Kansas creek rd to the Trask cutoff as a 'shortcut' to the Trask in our '86 4-Runner... never got stuck (for too long).

That's one tough looking CJ. Very cool.
