Thanks TH. Great video, beautiful fish. Like how they jump. Suppose I should leave the 5wt at home.

Too bad we have to go all the way to Argentina to find fishing like that...

Great video and yes, I have been there. Won’t go back. Go to Argentina or Chile and fish the many rivers in Patagonia for rainbows and browns on dry flies on many gorgeous creeks and rivers. Sea run fishing is hard, windy, big rivers. You are most often assigned a beat to fish and you will rotate for the week through all beats. It is sooooo far and the number of fish caught is not worth it. Go to Russia. Action is unbelievable. Not even close as adventure angling destination.

NZ has some huge sea run trout too. I didn't mess with it, but the Fjordlands are said to be a good place to target them. Ran into two guys who had just finished a week down there and it sounded like they didn't do very well. As you said-- hit or miss, with timing being the key...problem is, nobody knows "what time" it's going to be, lol.
