Default 2 stroke Ban

There is a movement now in Oregon to ban all 2 stroke motors on reservoirs much like California has done. Nothing will probably happen until the spring of 2012.

Seems to make sense. Who wants MTBE or any of the other additives they put in gasoline in their drinking water?

Respectively disagree..... that would kill the fishing industries around those lakes.

Cannot speak for everyone but I don't have the cash to buy a new Yamaha SHO (four stroke) for my boat.

I guess I am glad I live 2 miles from a Willamette boat launch.... as long as the "**** runs" are strong on the Willy nobody can complain about two strokes.

I have a barely used 2005 150 Merc. 2-stroke salt water.I bought it hook, line, and sinker, because that would be par for my luck. The last time I laughed at a ban in the 80's it started with a little bird called a spotted owl.Look at me now.Good one.You hit a raw nerve.
