Default Attention bass anglers: Cabin Fever Classic!

Fellow bass anglers:

The Cabin Fever Classic is quickly approaching, 4/2, and I would like to encourage you all to participate in this years event. It will be out of Hood River so it is sure to be a fun, productive, dry(er), and a less congested (no salmon anglers) tournament.

Its only $100 per team to enter and is steeped in prize money and prizes!

If you have a bass boat (PortlandStatekid, etc.) or anything that floats thats can put you on fish (Roger, etc.) this tourney is a must do!!!

Please find all the info at Columbiariverbassmasters.com

Hope to see you there!

Cool Re: Attention bass anglers: Cabin Fever Classic!

Unfortunately I'm confident I'd place last
and out of HR know only 4 productive spots I'm sure
are 'community'

So who's already pre-fishing the thing?

Portlandstatekid, and others:

At this point I dont know what the preregistration looks like. I am sure it will increase as we get closer to the event. It sure is alot of fun even if you dont finish in the money (something I have never done and am not counting on it this year). But still I learn, enjoy the comraderie, and find it the best use of my Saturday.

We will have a raffle too! Tackle bags, boat oil, Rods, and Tualitin River tackle filthy jigs!

Its a great time!

PSK,

We've seen what you can do up at HR and even if you "only" have 4 spots that's good enough! One or all of those spots could harbor several bloated sows just waiting to pounce on your squishy, we'll presented offerings. There's worse ways to spend a Saturday!

PSK,

You've got the rig....you've got the boat...you've got the juicy tubes tied on to Cajun line...you've got what appear to be filthy brown bass catching skillz. The CFC beckons!!

And where is ExBassGuide? I know your craft isn't motorized but all of us on this board have borne witness to your sick smallie (and LMB) skillz where you hook many thousands of basses per season----you could quite possibly dominate the field as a potential "back seater" and walk away with some sweet moolah! Get out there, Roger!!!!

I've never fished w/EBG but have personally witnessed him
rip 5-6 fish out of a single hole from his float within a 5 min
window or so in the most graceful manner I'd never learn
how to fish.

It was even more nasty than the charts show,..many anglers came back in early. Big waves, big swells, lots of boats that took on more water than they had expected,...& oh yeagh,.. it was cold!

It was mega intense with big wind and waves....but then it wouldnt have been the CFC if we didnt have the most adverse conditions possible.

A lot of nice fish were caught. I think big fish was about 4.5 ish, big bag was about 14.8 ish if my memory serves me. Several boats, including myself, came in early because of the tuff conditions.

I will head back up when our weather gets good and she "lays down".

I look forward to some warm, calm conditions.
