Default Mt. Angel's Octoberfest

Special - this year only - drive thru pickup sausage and sauerkraut to take home. For a ten spot you get a ticket to online streaming music from a parade of bands on Saturday. Not quite the beer tent atmosphere but what the heck. PROST!!!

As long as they have the waitresses in those outfits handing out the sausage, I'm in.

They are called a Dirndl. Can also refer to a young lady (usually country).

I went to the Octoberfest in Kichener Ontario in the 1960's. It is the second largest one next the big one in Germany. had a blast.

Went once. Stood in line at the beer garden for 2 hours in the rain.
Didn't move 2 feet in that time.
Never went back.
Seniors clubhouse here in town is much more exciting.
