I moved to the Beaverton area on September 13th leaving my boat back in Utah until my wife and kids make the move up. I've been stuck to the bank, exploring new areas for the most part on my own.
I have had some good success, of course casting out from the bank with dropshot rigs and texas rigged hula grubs has a cost, burning through weights and hooks quicker than I can buy them.

I left mostof my tackle in my boat. DOH!
With that said, I can't wait to explore more, and meet some more like-minded bass anglers. I've found some cool spots and caught some nice Smallmouth. Fishing for years off of a bass boat and then having to stick to the bank SUCKS. Finding areas with the right current is difficult from the bank.
If you have a boat and like to go fish for bass and need someone to join, I would gladly share the expenses.
Here are some photos of my adventures thus far.
