RIP Seefood Man
For those of you who knew him, my good friend Seefood Man (Pete Grace) as passed on. He was my brother from another mother, so to speak. I met Pete while fishing on the banks of the Sandy river in the early 90s and I have been close friends with him ever since. As far as my family is concerned, is part of our family and will be greatly missed.
Rest in peace and pain free at last.
We love you Bro.

Re: RIP Seefood Man
no, this is terrible. I know pete. Fantastic guy. I did the graphics on his boat in the first picture here. and other signs for him over the years. Fished with him years ago. I ran into him in a diner in ketchikan about 2 years ago and we had breakfast and chatted for about an hour. Super sweet guy, very friendly and approachable.
That is really so sad to hear.
Rest in peace Pete, you will me missed my friend.

SeeFood Man was a great contributor to Ifish. Always enjoyed his banter on the board.
RIP, Pete

Re: RIP Seefood Man
Very sad. Just a little while ago I found myself wondering why we hadn't seen a post from him in a long time.
My best memory of Pete is when he started up his own relief effort to help Tillamook after the 2006 flood. He made a sign and hauled is trailer to Fisherman's Marine to collect donations:

I met Pete in that very trailer collecting those goods. It was at Fishermans Delta Park . I think you were that night as well Gary?
Pete was a good man that always willing to help others whether in the medical field, on a fishing boat or in the community.
He will be missed.

Re: RIP Seefood Man
I met him quite a few years back at Campers West. We were walking the same direction so we B.S.ed our way back to our respective camps. During the conversation it came up that we were both ifishers. I didn't "know" him but we talked like we'd been friends for years.
Rest
In
Peace

Yes, that's where those pics were taken. And yes about Pete helping people...after he collected those donations, he hauled 'em over the hill to Tilly. All on his own initiative and dime.

Re: RIP Seefood Man
Talked with Pete a few times always a good guy. Since Ryan mentioned the boat. He was one of the first to go with 26 foot plus boat sporting 300 horse and console. A set up that has become popular. Innovating the six seat guide boat.
