The only plastic of which I am aware is the cap. Which if they do this like the wine and milk cartons, will also have a plastic cap.

Sounds like ecotheatre to me.

Besides, most whisky drinkers dont go through a fifth of scotch in a sitting. A bottle may get opened and slowly depleted over months or even years.

Not at my place, but most.

Who would drink Johnny Walker anyway?
Specially when there are so many single malt whiskey's out there, that taste
much better.
Half a bottle in a night ain't so bad is it? :D
