Default Halibut the 4th

I know alot ask this, it wondering if someone can point me in the right directions? We fished the banana yesterday for halibut got black cod and our halibut, but seemed scratchy at best. Just wondering if there are other spots I should check near there, or stick with it there? I will admit I'm a newbie at the halibut game.

I’ve fished windy island, AKA the Pig with success. It a bit deeper but I think you chance bigger fish there too. Last one I got here was 100#. Look for the spots about 800 feet deep.

The depth doesn't bother me. I've upgraded reels. Thanks for the info

FWIW-I was playing with my Navionics App on my phone and many of the spots such as The Pig, Banana Bank are actually listed on the Navionics map.

So I'm fairly new the the game as well but my personal opinion is if you are somewhere that produces fish stick with it! Nothing wrong with prospecting once the freezer is full!!!
