Default Warm Clear Water! Two Mola Mola Sightings while Salmon Fishing

Sooooo. I've been salmon fishing out of Florence 4 days now and two of the 4 days we spotted large Sunfish in about 200 FOW. Only about 2 miles offshore. This is the closest I have ever seen them. The water is clear and warm.

WHEN WILL THE TUNA SHOW UP!

I'm not jonesing to go Tuna fishing or anything!

My money is on the salmon disappearing before the tuna show up I would much rather see a solid break then warm water everywhere

We seem to spot those almost every time out, for over 20 years I have been venturing out chasing salmon. I never thought of it as a sign of much, seemed normal to me. What am I missing?

I've seen them next to the Barview Jetty. They weren't very big.

That's interesting! I've only seen them out tuna fishing until now. Once I hit one when I was about 35 miles out. I guess that has stuck with me. Blue sharks on the other had, I have hit probably 6 or 7 of them.
