To the other folks, if you have not participated in a banding session, I highly recommend it. It’s a fun thing to do with kids and helps get them involved in biology/science, the great outdoors and waterfowl hunting.
I did this with my daughter in 2012. Here are a few photos, I also have a video of her releasing one and flying away. Not sure how to post that, but it’s kind of cool. She is now a freshman at OSU. Time flys.
