Default Shirley's Tippy Canoe Destroyed by Fire

Shirley's Tippy Canoe out in Troutdale burned to the ground this morning.....

https://www.koin.com/local/multnomah...-in-troutdale/

Use to love going in there for a beer after a long day behind the oars springer fishing.......The food was fantastic and their backyard outside area was really neat.......big loss

Hmm.... interesting. They have been facing financial troubles since the fire in the gorge.

It was a cool place last time I drank beers there, which had to have been 20 years ago.

I’ve got family in Corbett, so I checked on it this morning. Sounds like some definite financial stress for the business lately, so I hope it wasn’t malicious.

No more gigantic Bloody Mary's, those things were a meal in itself.

The owner said she did expect the fire to be that big. What kind of fire was she expecting?

You should work for CNN! I think you should go back and listen to what she actually said. You took it out of context.

Pretty cool little place. Shirley really classed it up when she took over. Food was great. Sad to hear.
