Default Wtb macs river runner prop gaurd

Hello,


Might anyone have a Macs River Runner guard.




I would like one for my drift boat kicker so the smaller size is what Im after.


Im in Oregon City.

Default Wtb macs river runner prop gaurd

I picked up a Clackacraft prop guard here on iFish a few weeks ago. Talk about hell for stout... the huge fin should really help counter the tendency of a drift boat to pop wheelies with a motor.



I’m sure the Mac’s is a fine unit, but might widen your horizon. I didn’t even know the Clacka type existed till recently...

don't they add significant weight?

I’m sure it’s heavier than a Mac’s, but the thing looks like it’d live through a trip over Niagara Falls. I’d imagine that the lift from the big foil should overcome the additional ~5# of weight.

I can weigh it if you’d like.

My sons has telling me I should get a prop guard on my Yamaha 9.9 trolling motor. Just not sure of the pro’s and con’s.

I have one. It is on my old drift boat outboard. I sold the drift boat don't need the prop guard. It is currently on a Mariner 6 hp. So i believe it is the small one. I will check when I get off work.
