Anyone remember real ballpark peanuts?
I was just snacking on some Hamptons in a Boston Red Sox MLB bag, and while they are OK, it got me to thinking about the peanuts I remember eating at Candlestick Park 50 years ago. They were really big and uniform -- no dark or blackened spots on the shells -- and the flavor was simply superior. Now, a classic major league ballpark hot dog is a wonderful thing, but those darned peanuts were really special.
