Default Got black streaks from the rain?

The rain and the outdoor dust and crud that accumulates on your white fiberglass is heck to get off. I even tried bleach and soap on one spot to no avail. My decks are hose down white FG. Cool huh? Not if you can't get that gray grunge off.

Well StarBrite makes a product called black streak (go figure) remover. Hey, this stuff is purty near wipe on wipe off .

My boat is white again.

The struggle is real with white fiberglass!! I feel like I cant keep it clean. Takes alot of elbow grease just to get the top layer of grime off.

Wondering now if there's something I don't know about for cleaning the inside of my aluminum boat. I have used lots of elbow grease and some not-so-harsh cleaners, to no avail. The aluminum has dark streaks and/or stains from over the years that won't come off.....so far.

Any suggestions for this? (see on right side just under the rod holder mount).

It may be worth trying it. But somewhere in the back of my mind I remember something for aluminum that is a wipe on, wipe off. Might look into metal fabrication stuff as a pre-cleaner before welding

Hey, Ich
There was a time you asked, and you received
Was happy to do it
I've had a few on here that I've helped with some mixed result, but l moved on.
Not sure why you're being tight lipped over a cleaning product

Thanks Ich, I understand your issues with rectal pores here. Just ignore them. You have earned your wings. Glad you getting on the up and up.

Thanks Judy, I sure took a lot of heat for not posting a cleaner name and being frustrated for other reasons as well but one time losing it in the last 12 years should not be a non reputable offense.

There are very few fisherwomen on here and I'm glad you are here as well.

And those that PMed' me, I appreciate your support and thank you!

And to share, the cleaner was Awesome Orange from the Dollar Store. I hope it works as well for you as it did for me

Let's move on now.
