Default Who did you order your metal roofing through?

In preparation to building a roof with proper overhang over a mobile home consideration's are being made to using metal roofing.
Any suggestion's as to who to order it through?
I'd like to give them our roof dimensions and schematic and have them provide roof panels, ridge cap, end/facia caps, foam supports, screws and adhesive/caulking.
Any suggestion's for a vapor barrier?

I run the rollformer machine at REM Steel in North Portland and we carry 26 ga. in 6 different colors. We carry all the trim and accessories there but we don’t do any of the engineering. We can help walk you through the ordering but leave it up to you to tell us what you need. The guys in the office are there 8:00- 4:30 m-f and are easy to work with and will walk you out to the warehouse to show you the product and help you figure out what you need.

Default Who did you order your metal roofing through?

Just did my garage and used Metallion Industries in Estacada. Sent them a schematic and they gave me a complete materials cost break down. I would use them again. I used roofing felt for the vapor barrier.

Great reference's, thank you.
Just got to think the service and price would be better buying direct than ordering through a building center.
I was thinking of using roofing felt for the vapor barrier. How did you install it?
We're building common rafters then screwing 1x4 stringers to mount the metal to.
I'm thinking of spraying adhesive to the back of the metal to apply t he felt before it goes on the roof.
I thought landscape fabric would work better in that application. With it being less rigid the fabric would follow the contour of the metal, ultimately I feel that would be cost prohibitive though.
Starting the framing process this morning.

Stapled to the plywood deck. I assume your concern is the paper sagging between the wood.
Improper eaves on manufactured homes has always bothered me to look at.

I also bought my materials for the covered area next to my garage from Metallion. I think they have the best price around also. I think?

I paid $14.75 per sheet of 1/2" CDX at Lowes. Time wise installing 4x8 sheets on rafter/trusses is not a lot different than 1x4. The the 30lb felt go's fast. Compared to other under metal materials. This morning in 3 hours I sheeted a 15x30 section of roof. By myself.
