Management analyst, primarily municipal, specializing in non-financial accountability: efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with statutory and regulatory issues ... with a bit of experience developing municipal bonds to finance things like water treatment plants, marinas and stadiums. Heck, what else am I gonna do with all this edjerKashun?

I work in television production. The company I work for produces programming for The Discovery Channel, TLC, HGTV, A&E, PBS, and a couple of syndicated series. I produce/direct a home improvement show for HGTV called "Help Around the House" mainly, but also write, shoot and edit some of the other shows we do as well.

Ok, I'll bite---
I work for a large aircraft manufacturer in the Seattle area as a course-developer and software instructor.

Also a licensed auctioneer who specializes in benefit/fund-raiser auctions. We've conducted auctions for Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and other outdoor groups.

A little bit of rodeo announcing rounds out the rest when we're not fishing.

I have been a forester for the last 25 years. I work for a timber company in SW Washington. This time of year I'm supervising the planting of 4 million trees in 4 months. Lots of variety as each season brings something different. It must be a good job because I never have dreaded getting up to go to work. I can't say that about some of the jobs I had before.

I work for the Big Brown. Been working for United Parcel Service here in Washington for last 14 years. Ii'd have to say Ii have one of best jobs out there that isn't directly fishing related. I get to be outdoors all day (I deliver rural routes out in outer Gig Harbor/Kkey Ppeninsula). Ii alsso get to access prrime saltwater and freshwater fishing that is on private lands. Nothing better then fiishing from a private beach at hiigh tide with school fish exploding and no other rods aaround to deall with. I also tie up flies on the side. One ofthse days Ii'll maak a lliving at it, if Ii could ever get to point of actually charging more then I pay for materials. LOL

In the hours I'm not fishing, I spend as a concrete worker in the family business. I also double as a VP position, something gained as a merger with my dad. We specialize in city sidewalk repair and general flatwork. An occasional remodel and retaining wall round out the work load.

The furthest I've have ever lived from a river is about 25 minutes. This includes my youngster years in northern Minnesota, and the last 23 or so anywhere from O.C. to Portland. I simply love to fish
My wife is also a fantastic fisherwoman, only when it's nice out of course

Hey, Wetaline, know of any jobs? Wouldn't it be great if I found a job on Ifish? The upside to this is I caught 11 Steelhead last week and the Springers are coming!!

I have a partner in the die cutting business
(Rubber Resource, Inc.) We die cut gaskets out of all types of materials (Rubber, sponge, foams ect.) when we aren't out fishing!

We also tinker with fishing related ideas and have come up with the "Original Line Keeper" and have a new product coming that will help keep your mooching rigs neat and orderly.

It makes work fun!!!!!

Just recently returned to Oregon (my childhood home) from a 16 year stint in the US Air Force.
My two boys live here with the ex and I thought it was more important to be with them while they grow up than be apart just to get a retirement paycheck. Seems I picked the wrong time to get out as far as the economy goes, since I'm currently unemployed...but the wife makes decent money so I get to spend some days on the water in between job searches.

Guess I'd better fess up too. 10 years doing residential real estate appraisals in Oregon. Work out of my home office. Before that I did commercial photography (corporate/industrial work on location). Before that, journeyman carpenter. Before that, railroad locomotive fireman. Before that, one dumb kid. See mom, I'm trying!

Sooo glad to see that so many regulars here actually have jobs.

Monday to Friday and some weekends I'm General Manager for a sawmill equipment controls company. If you see a 20' Trophy with an ancient 10hp Johnson kicker that just won't die stop by and say hello

Work on the ramp for Northwest Airlines at SeaTac.
Used to work at LAX in So. Cal where I chased tuna/makos/yellowtail and dived for lobster. Still trying to figure out everything up here but really enjoying it! Especially salmon in the rivers - no boat to mess with!
CLICK HERE for some pics since I've been here.

I have spent the last 20 years working in the health care field in one way or another. Ex army medic, ex paramedic and ex insructor. I am currently working for a local hospital in an Occupational Health clinic (better hours and a whole lot less stress. Am going back to school to see what else is out there. Fish as often as possible and camp year round. I am also an established beer taster and wine swiller. I also get to model and demo stuff for one of the best out door clothing makers in the north west. That means free gear!! RRRAAAGGGHHH

Well, my husband and I own a Mower and Chainsaw shop which is  very busy this time of year. I work with children with special needs and love it. We mostly fish in late summer when both school and the shop have slowed down. I would fish every day if I had my way.
