Females are building eggs for next spring. Those fish in Brownlee, can't be spawning now. I've never heard of any bass spawning in Fall anyplace in the USA. The fish in Florida spawn first, December/January because of the mild climate down there in the winter.
Each system is different but the majority of spawning in the NW takes place in May/June around Full moon.
from everything ive read and learned from fishing this is the truth!!!! and i still have never tasted my beloved Bass so i wouldn't know whats in there bellies besides the bait i threw them!!
