What is ifishstock? Ifishstock
began three years ago, as a get together for the community discussion
board people on ifish.net. It is a family welcome bbq/picnic. Most
people bring their fishing equipment and boats, and fish during
the day, and join together in the evening to boil their crabs, serve
fantastic fish dishes, and generally eat too much! |
|
Where
is Ifishstock?
There
are good signs. After passing Tillamook Cheese factory, look for
a brown sign, about 1 mile down the road, traveling North. It
will say, Kilchis River Park. Turn on Alderbrook, and follow the
signs to Kilchis River Park. 1. Start on MAIN AVE
N 0.2 2. |

Information: The event will be held at The Kilchis River Park. We are roasting a pig! We are asking 3.00 for adults, and 2.00 for children, 14 and under, to cover the cost of the picnic area, and the pig. If you
are a camper, it would be best if you call to reserve a spot.
Please tell them that you are with ifish.net. Reservation fee
is 5.00. Camping over night, for two vehicles, or a vehicle and
a boat, for up to 8 people is 10.00 per night. There are bathrooms
with running water. There are no showers. If you
would rather stay in a motel, The
Shilo Inn at Tillamook has reserved a block of rooms for ifish
at a special rate. Please call them, identifying yourself as a
member of ifish.net, and they will quote you the price, depending
on how many rooms we are booking. 10 rooms or under, the rate
for two queens will be 69.00 plus tax. If we book more, we'll
get a better rate. Another option for motel stayers: Bay Shore Inn, in Garibaldi at 503.322.2552 www.ifish.net
will not furnish, does not encourage, and will not be responsible
for the personal consumption of alcohol. (In other words, BYOB, and if you mess up, it's your own problem. :)) |

Join the Pigmittee! Kiwanda kid and Waterdog
head the Pig Roast committee, fondly named the pigmittee.
To contact them, please e mail them here: Kiwanda
Kid, Waterdog Official MC: Crabbait! E mail Crabbait for any special announcements you want made! Please... Tell me if you are bringing children under 14. I am going to have separate drawings for the kids, and I'd like to have at least a little something for every child. E mail jennie@harborside.com and put ifishstock in the header, you know... the title. Tell me at least aproximately how many in your group. I know it's early to know for sure, thus I'll keep bringing it back up. Also, tell me how many children under 14. The park dinner area costs 1 dollar per head to reserve. So, that, and the pig, I'm going to ask for three dollars when you register to come to the party. With your registration you will get some door prize tickets. Not sure how many yet! Two dollars for kids. Now, if you can't afford that, don't let it keep you from attending! Just pay the one dollar park use fee, and join us!!! Does anyone have horse shoes? If they have a place for them, does that mean they MIGHT have them at the host's place? Also, the park lady tells me only one person has reserved a spot. You better hurry up and reserve if you are staying there! Jen |
