Fish and feed hungry families

Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend

There will be stations in Garibaldi collecting your fish donation. The Oregon Food Bank will then feed the hungry in our communities with your catch! For the folks on the south coast, contact information is listed below so you can participate as well.

The process is simple. Bring your salmon, halibut or tuna to the fish collection station listed below and the Oregon Food Bank will take it from there. Please clean your fish first! You will be asked to provide your name, address and tag number. This information is needed to legally transport the fish from one location to another. In addition, you will be receiving a thank you from the Oregon Food Bank and a donation receipt.

There will be iced totes to keep the fish until it is transported for processing and distribution. The Oregon Food Bank will be distributing the fish throughout their entire system and will feed people all over the state. Our timing is excellent due to the large numbers of fish and the fact that donations are at their lowest numbers of the year.
