Default Google.com Is Anti-Gun....

Google.com is Anti-Gun!

How? They are refusing to allows honest, legal companies from advertizing on their site if they are in anyway related to: firearms, firearm accessories, or other associate businesses.

You can do a serach for firearms. Sure that works (that way they can say they are not infringing on anyones First Amendment Rights). When you do a search you will notice a list on the right side of companies, selling items related to your search. Those "Adworks" links are ads by companies paying to get their site advertsied on Google. When you do a search for firearms or ammo.... no ads on the right! Even though there are legal, honest, legitimate US Companies trying to pay to be listed there. Google is turning them away - refusing their money.

I wonder if it could be an issue of the legalities of buying firearms online? Can you buy a 30-06 from someone in Michigan and have it shipped to Oregon via the internet?

Odd. I just ran a Google search for "Handgun Control" to saee what sort of anti-gun ads would show, and an ad popped up for "Discount Handguns" on ebay. I thought ebay banned firearms on their site over a year ago.

I diid not get any ads for the anti-gun organizations.

Sounds like a business decision based on social conciousness. There's a 1st Amendment, look right above the 2nd ...

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helv">More like social unconciousness. They allow bows and arrows, how about using "hunting implement" in lieu of hunting rifle? For poo sakes its a search engine not K-mart. Ridiculous!

I emailed them and I told them I would not use their search engine until they changed their policy. I suggest you all do the same.

And lost sailor. They have the right to do that. Just as I have the right to not use their search engine.
