Default When We Can\'t Shoot Pintails, We "Shoot" Them pics

It's amazing how dumb birds can be when they don't get shot at. This morning we saw hundreds of Pintails that would not leave our decoys alone. I felt sorry for those poor molested, abused, and used decoys. They just didn't get any rest from the Pintails.

My buddy and I had each shot our Pintail, so after the ump-teenth flock of about one bajillion birds dumped in, I decided if I couldn't use steel to shoot them, I'd use my camera.

Perhaps you've had to shoot birds with a camera? Let's see your photos. I think it would be fun to see what everyone isn't shooting, since sometimes the view can be amazing.

This is my first attempt at wildlife photography, so be gentle. all these pics were taken today.

My favorite bird. I can remember being with my dad in the pre-dawn darkness in the Cenral Valley of California near Los Banos and there were so many pintails flying over and whistling that we couldn't talk they were so loud. Awesome memories. That was around 1977. Nice pic's.

Nice work, You know, My digital is lousy for Quick shot photos. Seems like nothing really beats a 35 mm for that kind of stuff.

Glad someone saw a few birds today.

That is great that you posted those awesome pics. It also shows to others that do not understand us duck hunters that it is not always about the kill.
Thanks for sharing
