My wife won't let me hang mounts in the house...says she doesn't want the house looking like a hunting lodge :depressed: Instead the house looks like a Martha Stewart gift shop However, I do have a raghorn 6pt elk rack and a 3pt white/blacktail cross in our bedroom. But only until I can finish the upstairs over our new garage....then I'll be able to have that hunting lodge look  My son has his racks in his room but fastly running out of wall space as its an attic room. All the rest of the racks get hung over a beam on our back porch. I enjoy looking at the antlers and reliving all the hunts

I just hang them from the barn, I'm not into the idea of mounting a dead animals head, no matter what kinda horns it has. I'm with alwyze fishin... the meat is the best part.

Well in the last two rentals we had i got the privilege of hanging them in the living room, but now that we own a house with more than 2 rooms my wife makes me put them in my "sporting good" room. It is a shame to let the vaulted ceilings go to waste!!
