Found a Shotgun at Fern Ridge WMA

Yesterday around 5:30 PM I found a shotgun at the Amazon Unit Checkstation at Fern Ridge WMA. I dropped it off at the Fern Ridge WMA Headquarters. So, If you are looking for your gun that's where it is. IF you need help send me a PM.

The guys at the HQ gave me a hat for my efforts, Hopefully it will bring good carma in the duck blind.

The guy at the HQ that I talked to (I didn't Catch His Name) said that this isn't the first time somone has left their gun behind this season. He has found, or had 2 or 3 other guns turned in or reported as lost.

that is an expensive mistake.

I got a call on friday night from the owner of the gun. he said he was out for an evening with his dog & just plain forgot it after turning his permit. He said he didnt ever realize it untill the next morning.

Turns out he has a drift boat & offered me a trip down the Mckenzie this summer!!!! I just may have to take him up on that!
