Default MSN Article!

I am angry. I just read an article on msn, talking about the killings in pennsylvania last month. The story is of a teen couple, the boy kills the girls parents and then they go on the run.

The article itself is not why I am angry though. The second to last paragraph says....would they have been more aware of his capacity for violence if they had seen the pictures on his blog?

The pictures that they are referring to are hunting pictures, including."several of him gutting a deer"

I am completely fed up with the negative spin the media puts on hunting all the time.. People who hunt are no more prone to violence than those who don't.

Plunging Float...I totally agree with you! I saw that on MSN too. But some how I think the bull hanging over my fireplace might disagree!

Just remember that not all of the media shed this light on our fellow outdoorsmen & women. Mr. Monroe care to comment?

It's a shame, but unavoidable. Whenever a sportsman or gun owner commits a crime it's just fuel for the fire. Kind of like when a preacher gets caught with a hooker.

I always get a little twinge in my stomache when things like this happen even though I know it will happen. Especially since people (even normal ones without an anti-hunting/gun agenda) always try to find some underlying reason or cause for such horrific crimes, just so they can feel a little less afraid about the world they live in.
