auto buying with bad credit
Anyone here recomend some place(hopefully online)that can help get an auto loan for a guy with bad credit. I am not going to boar anypne with why we are where we are. I looked online and it was so overwhelming I couldnt tell the scam places from the real ones. Anyway any help with a direction to turn would be great. You can PM if you need to.

Re: auto buying with bad credit
First you should have some type of employment and income. Second that could lead to a local Credit Union that covers the area you are employed by. And they will normally work with you to finance a car. If they will not finance you then your problems are really bad. And may need more than a finance company.
Good Luck;

Re: auto buying with bad credit
I have been employed with the same company for 10 years. We are in a chapter 13 repayment plan and the credit unions don't like that. I know there are lenders out there that will help, just trying to see if anyone else has gone through a similiar circumstance. I have our housepayment, and the chapter 13 payment and thats it, I no other car payments, so I have plenty of disposible income.

#1 Do you have to buy the car now?
#2 If not, can you save until you can pay cash?
CREDIT IS EVIL!!!

Re: auto buying with bad credit
Keta is correct. If you have plenty of disposible income you should be able to save enough to buy a good used car and pay cash. Belive me in the long run it is the only way to go.

Re: auto buying with bad credit
I will need it buy the end of march. I could save and pay cash for $2000.00 rig, but the wife will be driving it and I need something reliable for her and the kids. Not to mention me when she wants to drive the truck.
We are not doing credit again, that wasnt are problem anyway. But I dont want this to turn into a credit is evil or something else off topic. Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar spot and had a good expereince somewhere.

Re: auto buying with bad credit
FYI, If you want credit, all approvals for credit must be approved by your Trustee. If you do not get their approval your case could be dismissed and you could find yourself in Jail.
