Re: Any Boardman reports?
Went out yesterday 12/13 to McCormack Refuge. There wasn't much shooting but, saw a few ducks and alot of geese. Unfortunately, it seemed like all of the waterfowl headed into Washington to feed then came back to the sanctuary islands to rest. Today, even in the wind, there wasn't much flying around the hunt area and not many shots heard. :depressed:

You can get Umatilla (McCormack Unit) reports via phone at 541-922-HUNT.

Ditto Crashin' Bait. We never fired a shot. And why should I lie?

Re: Any Boardman reports?
To Gottafish's credit that is a good spot. Along with at least a half dozen other area's within a few miles.
The flip side is that ducks don't always fly that far. Boardman is another 10-15 miles away. Much of the duck traffic is from the river to the fields or ponds to the fields. Not necessarily up and down the river.

Re: Any Boardman reports?
Very true Lured In...
I like that 3 mile canyon area, but to tell the truth, I have never shot a limit of birds out of there. The best day's I have had out of 3 mile, always come when there are multiple hunters in the area keeping the birds moving.
Again thank you for the reports

Re: Any Boardman reports?
Well hell maybe we just got lucky. I hunted out there twice now and we got limits both times altho last time we hunter most of the day and this time it was short but sweet. I have never been to irragation but if there is no ducks flying why do you guys hunt there. Good luck this weekend.
