Has anyone hunted ducks this year on the wildlife area?
I'm a little put off by the stories of waterfowl holding up north and not making the journey into Oregon.
We have draw hunts this weekend and in January...I hope it is worth our time...well any day spent hunting is worth the time...but you know what I mean. :whazzup:

Vandal, I have been hunting the public area for a couple of weekends nowand it is the same as always lotsa bird sitting on the lak

Vandal, Sorry about the first reply I hit the wrong button. Anyway as I was saying lotsa birds sitting on the lake but it takes wind to make them fly, You may have good weather for tomorrow. When is your hunt in january? I have one on the 24th of jan. I will be hunting geese tomorrow they need to pay. Anyway give us a report on how you do.

The rain and wind paid off...most folks left well before the stroke of noon we had long waits and then quick bursts of activity and then long waits again and again. Ended up a few birds shy of our goal but came out with all greenheads.

MrDuckman...I drew for Jan 24th also say HI at the check in...I will be in a black toyota with black shell. :smile:
