Newbie
Hi everyone! I live in Eugene and just got into fishing. Right now I only fish for trout so can anyone let me know where the best bets are in the area so in the spring I can have some better luck.

Re: Newbie
Welcome, Andy. How 'bout a fish story so we can kinda get to know you. Eugene is a great area and there's good fishing in just about any direction from there - the Umpqua, the McKenzie, the Willamette, the Siuslaw. Perfect.
Let's hear your story....

Re: Newbie
Welcome Aboard AD2!!! I know you will enjoy this site as much as we all do. I will do by best to help you out and get you some better results when you go out in the spring. I know there are a lot of good folks in the Eugene/Springfield area that can offer up some good advise for you as well. Perphaps you can even get into some good Springer Action when the run reaches the valley, maybe we can hook up and do a drift or two.

Re: Newbie
Welcome to our family Andy. Don't know about trout fishing in the Eugene area however, at the north coast we have a number of lakes open year around for trout,
Good luck
