Robert Jordan..."The Wheel of Time"

Anyone else reading this never-ending saga? Just an incredible long-running story.

I bought the first one paperback long ago, then the next two hardback, and decided to go back and buy the first one hardback. Now, I have all ELEVEN books in the hardcover. I sure hope he finishes in the next few, the shelf is almost full! Not to mention the $$ tied up in those things.

First 3 were great, 4-7 were pretty lacadasical, 8-9 were ok, and 10 & 11 are back to great again.

Just finished Knife of Dreams. It all starts to come together. I say two more books. 3 at most. Been reading em forever. He started writing the Conan books, means we have to wait for 2 years at a time for a new book. The sheer number of characters and sub-plots astounds me. Some of it verges on biblical. VERY well written. Jordan sure knows how to keep us comming back!
