It sucks. Mergansers mostly, and few at that. The word is that Ducks Unlimited put out a huge amount of planted feed up near Skagit/Tacoma area and the ducks are all holding up there. DU has apologized and said it won't do it again because it screwed up the hunting so bad along the Western states. This was either in the New York Times or Wall Street Journal in the last week.

I hunted Skagit and Smith farms last weekend. The ducks are holding tight in the refuge above Skagit.Lake Terrell was doin good but nuthin really movin around up there.
About 2-3000 teal on smith farms in the am.Real spooky. they go out about 10 min. before shooting time.Real cool to hear the whistle of the wings.Awesome sight watchin them go overhead.
