I just wanted to publicly say thanks for a great, entertaining read a few minutes ago. Your Sunday article about a great Goose hunt, and watching the birds was perfect.
Your timing was perfect as I just got back from a full on skunk, laying in a muddy Final Approach, staring at an empty sky (except for the 3 DUSKIES we landed!!!). "talking" to those Geese as they waddled in the decoys had us completely entertained for about 10 minutes.

I agree!!! I look forward to Monday's so I can read his outdoors section every week! He is a great ambassador for our sport and we are all lucky to have him write for the only major newspaper in our great state of Oregon. I like to think that Bill kelps to show the non hunting community that we are not all “bubba” and that there is so much more to hunting than the harvest of game. Bill, thanks and keep it up!
