to hunt or not to hunt. (St. Louis Ponds)

Thinking about doing some duck hunting this weekend and was wondering if anybody had done any good out at the louis ponds in woodburn. I dont even know if its open or worth the trip. I usually hunt over on sauvies but maybe would like to try something new. any info would be helpful.

Sorry, I've hunted it several times. I've never taken more than two birds out of there on any given day. Most are small puddle ducks - there are some woodies and mergansers. I've not been impressed. Last year we had a bunch of enviros come in and flare birds all day. I'm sure they're still at it.

I used to hunt there as a kid. Haven't been in years. It was mediocre. Very few mallards and such as I recall.
